KIDS ARE SO SMART

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.
The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.
The little girl said, 'When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah'.
The teacher asked, 'What if Jonah went to hell?'
The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him'.

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.
As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, 'I'm drawing God.'
The teacher paused and said, 'But no one knows what God looks like.'
Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, 'They will in a minute.'

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds.
After explaining the commandment to 'honor' thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, 'Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?'
Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, 'Thou shall not kill.'

(THIS IS MY FAVORITE)
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, 'Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?'
Her mother replied, 'Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.'
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, 'Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?

The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.
'Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.'
A small voice at the back of the room rang out, 'And there's the teacher, she's dead.

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, 'Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face.''Yes,' the class said.
'Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?'
A little fellow shouted,'Cause your feet ain't empty.

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
'Take only ONE . God is watching.'
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, 'Take all you want. God is watching the apples.'

Fun

Over the last week we have had some lovley days out we went to the cinema with friends one day.

We had a wonderful day out with powys carers at forest school nr Newtown Powys. On arrival the children ate toast and drank hot chocolate made on thecamp fire. Afterwards the children had a fantasitc time playing games in the forest, figureing out tasks given to them, making rope bridges from tree to tree, Aaron enjoyed helping to cook lunch on the camp fire. In the afternnon we built dens ( make groups was the best ) later we made wooden mallets and whistles made from tree branches, At the end the childen had a musical lesson with there new instruments. When asked what they liked most about the day there was only one answer from each child all of it.

Next day out was down the wirral. Here we visited family & freinds We also took a trip to the beach to the rock pool. Aaron had a great times crap hunting in the rock pools & Fred our dog had a wonderful time running up and down the beach in out the water getting himself very mucky as he always does. On way back we visited Daniels and Callums grave and placed some more fresh flowers in the new gnome flower pots.

Off out again this time for a bike ride round the country park with Fred.  Then out for lunch  nana came out with us  today. After lunch we headed for Bala  another walk before heading home over the mountains spectalular views.

Our next day out was to visit Liverpool. We went by train along with a good friend and neighbour  Pat  shes has been a star over the last few months a rock to both myself and Aaron. Aaron enjoyed the train ride, also the Merseyrail underground. he got a little upset over Daniel at times like I did knowing Daniel  would have loved the train ride. Whilst in Liverpool we visited the Museum. I would really recommend a visit here he is brillent a valuable learning experience for any child full of very interesting things vast selection of bugs insects, the fantasitic aquarium, dinasaur floor that Aaron really enjoyed, experience african, asia and ancient america and egypt. Lots of hands on experiences with very nice staff to help the childen along. There was also a space encounter and cafe. This is also a free experience. After visiting the museum we headed back on the train all completely shattered.

The Husband Store

The Husband Store

A brand new store has just opened in New
York City that sells Husbands. When women go to choose a husband, they have
to follow the instructions at the entrance:- 'You may visit this store ONLY
ONCE! There are 6 floors and the value of the products increase as you
ascend the flights. You may choose any item from a particular floor, or may
choose to go up to the next floor, but you CANNOT go back down except to
exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to
find a husband.

On the 1st floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men have jobs.

The 2nd floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These
men Have Jobs and Love Kids.

The 3rd floor sign r e ads: Floor 3 - These
men Have Jobs, Love Kids and are extremely good looking.

' Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to
keep going.

She goes to the 4th floor and the sign
reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking
and Help with Housework.

'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly
stand it!'

Still, she goes to the 5th floor and sign
reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous,
help with Housework and Have A Strong Romantic Streak. She is so tempted to
stay, but she goes to the 6th floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this
floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof
that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband
Store .

To avoid gender bias charges, the store's
owner opens a
New Wives store just across the street.

The 1st floor has wives that love sex.

The 2nd floor has wives that love sex and
have money.

The 3rd through 6th floors have never been
visited.

Thank You To  Paul  for this blog

CHESTER ZOO

Tuesday  26th March  2008     CHESTER ZOO

Aaron and I had a wonderful day out at Chester Zoo. We took some lovely photographs that can vbe viewed on the photo pages on this web site. To keep us warm on this cold wet day between the showers we drank hot chocolate in the Ark Cafe.

    Aaron drinking his hot chocolate.

We saw most of the animals, close ups of the lions, watched the elephants playing around see photo page, watched the elegance of the pink flamingo, took a boat ride, saw baby giraffe plus much more.

Remembering Daniel as we walked around the zoo. He enjoyed his days out here both on his bicycle and in his wheelchair. How he loved the  mono rail and he screamed with delight at the passing trains  we both shed a tear. We miss Daniel so much.

Please see photo pages for pictures of the zoo & visit the chester zoo web site @  www.chesterzoo.org

Aaron has enjoyed looking after the new additions to the village. Picking out the free range eggs from the hen house.

To meet all the chicken go to photo pages Penybont Animals. Chickens  - Crowella, Chuckera, Blossum, Mulan & Tanyyar.

After visiting KFC on Easter Sunday Aaron then apologised to the chucks for eating one of there friends. Although he did tell them it was nice and tasty.
